Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

By using Shatably, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before creating an account or using our services.

1. Who You Are Contracting With

Shatably is operated by Sinai Tech Ventures LLC (شركة سيناء تك فنتشرز ذ.م.م), an Egyptian limited liability company whose full details are listed on the Imprint page linked in the footer of every page. Shatably acts solely as an online intermediary connecting customers with finishing and furnishing service providers; it is not a party to the works contract and does not itself carry out any interior design, construction or furnishing work. The works contract is formed directly between the customer and the provider.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your country in order to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide at registration and for keeping it up to date, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that takes place through your account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

3. How the Marketplace Works

A customer creates a project describing what they need, and quotation requests are then sent to matching providers. A provider may respond with a quote stating a price and an estimated timeline, or decline the request. Every quotation request has a validity period and expires automatically if it is not answered within it. A customer may reject any individual quote without affecting the other quotes received for the same project, and is never obliged to accept a quote. No contractual commitment arises between the parties until the customer accepts a quote.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices shown on the platform are gross totals inclusive of all applicable taxes and duties. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, invoices issued for agreed works are payable within fourteen (14) days of the invoice date. Shatably does not offer payment through the platform and does not collect any amounts on behalf of either party; settlement takes place directly between the customer and the provider.

5. Provider Obligations

Providers must deliver the works as described in the accepted quote, must hold the licences and permits required to carry out their activity, and must comply with the laws and regulations of the country in which the work is performed and with the safety standards applicable there. Providers also confirm that the experience and past work presented on their profile is accurate.

6. Customer Obligations

Customers must provide accurate and complete information about their project, including location, scope and indicative budget, give the provider access to the work site at the agreed times, respond to enquiries and quotes within a reasonable period, and pay the agreed consideration in accordance with section 4.

7. Content You Upload

You may upload photos, drawings, voice notes and other material to the platform. You retain ownership of this content and confirm that you hold the rights needed to upload it and that it does not infringe the rights or privacy of others. You grant Shatably a non-exclusive, limited licence to store this content and display it to the providers matched to your project, to the extent needed to operate the service. This licence ends when the content or the account is deleted, except where retention is required by law.

8. Prohibited Conduct, Reporting and Moderation

You may not publish unlawful, misleading or abusive content, impersonate others, provide false licensing details, use the platform for purposes unrelated to finishing and furnishing services, or interfere with it technically. The platform lets users report accounts and content that break these rules; the moderation team reviews every report and decides whether to act on it or dismiss it, which may result in content being hidden or an account being suspended.

9. Liability

Because Shatably is an intermediary and not a party to the works contract, it is not liable for the quality of the works carried out by providers, for their adherence to agreed timelines, or for any damage arising from the performance of those works. Its responsibility is limited to making the platform and the matching service available. It assists with the amicable resolution of disputes between the parties without owing any obligation as to the outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the platform and request deletion of your account at any time. Shatably may suspend, restrict or terminate an account where these terms or the law are breached, while a serious report is under review, or where the platform is being misused. Termination of an account does not affect obligations already agreed between a customer and a provider for works in progress.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms and your relationship with Shatably as a platform are governed by Egyptian law, and the competent Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. Disputes concerning the works themselves, between a customer and a provider, are governed by the law of the country in which the work is performed.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service or to legal requirements. The updated version is published on this page together with the date it was last updated, and your continued use of the platform after that constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
